Holly Humbert
Hello all, my Name is Holly Humbert. I'm almost 25. I'm married to a
sweet and scrapbooking supportive man, Ryan and we have a daughter Zoe,
who is 2.5. We currently live in Sacramento, CA but will be moving to
southeast Idaho in just a few weeks, so my husband can finish school.
My fave scrapping manufacturer is: Wow, that's a hard one, it changes constantly. Right now I'm loving Crate Paper, but not far behind is Studio Calico, My Mind's Eye and October Afternoon.
One thing you'd never guess about me is: Um, I'm a total teeny bopper at heart. Bubble gum pop is still one of my favorite things to listen to. Don't believe me...just check my iPod. :)
I'd... love an all-expense-paid trip to: Europe, France and Italy especially. I'm the only one in my family who has never been.
Day or Night person? Night. I'm more productive after 7pm.
I create because: I find a creative release is one of the few things that helps me stay balanced. Whatever mood I'm in, scrapping can help bring back that balance. My husband often asks me if I need to, "Scrap it out!" when something is bothering me. I also create for the legacy part of the hobby. I love that when my daughter grows up, she'll be able to look back through those scrapbooks and read my thoughts and feelings about her, throughout her entire childhood.
I've been scrapbooking for around 14 years, although only seriously
in the past 5 years. I've been published in the e-zine, Scrapstreet and
will have several upcoming publications in 2011 in the Scrapbook Trends
magazine, Create.
As my blog says, I'm addicted to diet coke, carbs and scrapbooking.
I work full time for HP, so I craft at night when the house is quiet,
diet coke in hand and Hulu playing on the computer. When I'm not
scrapbooking, you can find me baking, sewing or concocting other
projects to add to my never ending list.
I'm so excited to be part of Polka Dot Whimsy and can't wait to get creating!
