Meet Michelle {aka Whimsy}

I have been a crafter ever since I can remember and have loved every minute of it! Memory keeping and planning are my passion and something I look forward to doing every day. I have been a hobby scrapbooker, a store owner, a teacher, and Creative Director for Lil' Davis Designs. Through these opportunities I was able to travel all over the world, teaching at conventions, trade shows, stores, and special events.

There is nothing I enjoy more than sharing my love of crafting with others!

I decided to start PDW in 2007 to provide inspiration and project orientated kits to all of my fellow crafters out in the world. Being a mom to four children and three adorable grand babies, plus a super cute husband that I call my personal saint, staying home with my family has always been very important to me. So what better way to share my fun with everyone and still be a mom and meemaw at home, then to have PDW.

I have enjoyed watching the industry I love so much evolve into so much crafting and planning. I still truly enjoy watching a new memory keeper or soon to be planner girl get so excited of the new adventure they are on.

So out of my love to create and desire to share it with the world, Polkadot Whimsy was born.

One of my greatest passions is for all things “PAPER”. On the weekends you can find me mapping a stationary or craft store. Since I travel often I feel there is always something to share in the states I visit I can always find a amazing journal or scrapbook.

My main goal is for everyone to be able to find their inner crafter, to create and document their most special memories while having fun doing it.
